GORESH
I have been a gamer ever since I was able to physically hold a controller and mouse in my hand. I grew up with a lot of the Nintendo 64 classics such as Super Mario 64, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Paper Mario, Donkey Kong 64, etc. I also thoroughly enjoyed a bunch of Gameboy titles such as Super Mario Bros./Land, generations 1 and 2 of Pokémon, various Metroid games, as well as much more. Something that separates me from a lot of other gamers is that I had a huge attachment to traditional arcades growing up where you could frequently catch me playing Gauntlet Legends, a personal favorite of mine, as well as more traditional arcade fighting games like Street Fighter, Tekken, and Soulcalibur. Some lesser known arcade games that I loved growing up were Primal Rage, The Simpsons, and Area 51. I also loved playing more retro-style games such as Donkey Kong, Dig Dug, and Galaga.
As I grew older my focus shifted more toward RPGs and games of that nature as I dabbled in a ton of Blizzard titles like Diablo 2 & 3, Warcraft III, World of Warcraft, and even Hearthstone. I found my niche in the ARPG community as Diablo 3 became the game that I found myself playing the most and I eventually picked up Path of Exile, which I still adore to this day. My childhood love for arcades really propelled me to dive headfirst into Dragon Ball Heroes, which is an arcade card game based around the Dragon Ball IP that is exclusive to Japan. While living in Japan I became super attached to Dragon Ball Heroes and from there on out I went onto exploring the mobile side of things with Dokkan Battle as well as Dragon Ball Legends, which are the two titles that my current YouTube channel is based around. My personal goal for 59 Gaming as a brand outside of fulfilling my managerial role is to share my love of all things gaming with as many people as possible and to build a community where we can all have fun and enjoy games together.
